Cyber QuickTip: Print from Windows Explorer

Do you ever have a need to print quickly and would prefer to not launch an application first? Here is a quick productivity tip to help.

Say you have a Word document that you would like to print. Did you know that you do not have to launch Word first? Here is what you can do:

 Locate the file that you would like to print on your hard drive.
 Right-click on its icon
 Click Print.

Your document (or spreadsheet, presentation, etc.) will be automatically sent to your printer without the need to launch the underlying application.

These print shortcut commands work with Windows XP Print, Windows Vista Print and Windows 7 Print.
